Vacancies at Nightstop and Reconnect MK - Closing date 12th October 2020
Depaul are really excited to be working with Milton Keynes Council and MKHP to develop new Nightstop and Reconnect services to support a reduction in youth homelessness across Milton Keynes.
The Nightstop MK service will provide emergency accommodation for 16 to 25 year old young people in the homes of vetted and trained Community Volunteer Hosts, on a night by night basis for up to 3 weeks. In addition, young people accessing Nightstop MK will simultaneously have access to our family support and mediation service, Reconnect. Reconnect MK will offer support and mediation to young people and their families via an experienced and qualified mediator, to improve communication, overcome conflict and strengthen relationships. Through a structured support package, we will help young people to return, or stay in, the family home, and where not appropriate we will enable young people to rebuild support networks vital to successful independent living.
Depaul are currently recruiting for a Senior Prevention Coordinator and Reconnect Worker to get Reconnect up and running, with Nightstop MK starting in 2021. This is a really exciting time to join Depaul and help shape the development of these new services for young people in Milton Keynes.
Please see the links below for more information on the role and how to apply. The closing date is 12th October at 12pm so get your applications in without delay!
