Download and use the new COVID-19 Track and Trace App & Create a QR Code for your venue
Never has it been more important than now for us all to be vigilant about COVID-19 and the health and safety of our employees, volunteers and the community of homeless people at every level.
We are all being encouraged to download the new Test and Trace App.
The new NHS Test and Trace app will be used alongside other methods of test and tracing, but the app will help us all as we can digitally check into venues by scanning a QR code. By doing this we can be alerted via the app if we have been exposed to COVID through contact with people we don’t even know.
You can create a QR code for your venue and place it in primary positions where people enter and leave to ensure they scan the code.
In Milton Keynes, the Council has been working with local businesses to ensure venues who need to download and display QR posters have done so. Visitors need to scan QR codes to check in at venues including pubs, cinemas and hairdressers.
Council posters showing where to download the app will also appear around the borough.
Lets download the app and help to keep ourselves and each other as safe and healthy as we can be in these challenging times.
