Milton Keynes Community Fridges

Aimed at reducing food waste, community fridges share good quality surplus food items with the community. There are nine community fridges located across Milton Keynes, which are open to all and free to use.

SOFEA Community Larders

There are community larders located across Milton Keynes, preventing food waste and helping households save on their food bills. By becoming a member, individuals can choose a selection of surplus food items for a small weekly subscription.

MK Food Bank

There are now two services provided by MK Food Bank. Households can use the Mobile Top Up Shop to access food items at minimal cost. If households need urgent help, they can get a food parcel by calling the helpline. Alternatively, you can make a referral on their behalf.

Warm Spaces

Using a Warm Space can be a great way to save on heating bills, plus many provide free refreshments and activities. Most Warm Spaces in Milton Keynes are run by community, parish and town councils. Get in touch with them directly to find out what's running near those you support.

Baby Basics MK

Supporting families across Milton Keynes, Baby Basics MK can provide a range of clothing, toiletries, food and equipment for babies and young children. The Essential Items Service requires you to make a referral, via the online form, whilst the Top Up Shop is open to all.

MK Storehouse

Those you support can find free, good quality second hand clothing for children and adults, at MK Storehouse. Wide ranging items are available, including school uniform, but you will need to make an initial referral via their online referral form.

The shops at Emmaus Village Carlton offer a wide range of good quality second hand items. This includes clothing, toys, electricals and furniture. Home delivery is also available for larger items.
